|Summary||0001294: zoom in the timeline centers on the current frame not the mouse cursor|
|Description||When zooming in the timeline with ctrl+mouse wheel the timeline is centred on the current frame (vertical rule) and not the mouse cursor.|
It is not intuitive and force to change the frame selected before zooming.
A possible situation is when you want to insert a sound (jingle) at a particular position, had determined the position. You want check which jingle you used during the last transition and want to zoom to that position to read the jingle's name. Unfortunately, doing that you had to change the current frame shown (left clic on the timeline), now you have to find back the position you selected before inserting the jingle. It is time consuming.

|Build/Install Method||3rd party package|
True. But both possibilities have advantages and disadvantages.
I'm not sure what is better. Perhaps best would be to make it configurable (zoom to mouse or zoom to current frame).
|+1 to make it configurable|
