|Summary||0001765: Audio thumbs generated in parallel?|
|Description||My HD is working like mad when generating audio thumbs.|
Are there multiple threads working on different files at the same time?
If yes, this would be highly inefficient as long as we don't have SSDs in desktop computers. And I'd suggest do disable it because it makes progress much slower.

|Build/Install Method||Manual build from SVN|
|Yes, there was a problem with threads. Situation should be better in current svn (number of threads is now limited), please let me know if you still think it's an issue.|
I'm not quite sure whether my test was correct. I remember something about mlocate updating the database at the same time. In this case I suggest setting the status of this bug report to invalid.
If they _are_ generated in parallel (I don't know the code), then perhaps some tests should/could be done whether there is a significant difference between parallel and not parallel. But since nobody else complained about loading times yet, I vote for closing this bug ;)
