I use gtk+ widgets style, and it integrates perfectly with Gnome. Can you explicit "unable to use"? How do you try to set it up?

Thanks for the reply. I select GTK theme in 'KDE system settings' utility ('systemsettings' package). I'm doing so because by default Kdenlive unable to use current GTK theme. Now Kdenlive uses GTK theme but after closer look you will see that 'open file' dialog and all icons aren't changed. They remain the same like in KDE. It looks like Kdenlive uses GTK theme partially. Just try to compare Kdenlive with Qt-only application (like DeadBeeF audio player) under GNOME and you will understand what I mean. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10.

Instead of comparing Kdenlive to applications based only on Qt (GUI-wise) could you please compare it to other KDE software?
What's the result then?
