|Summary||0002508: More versatility for slideshow import filename pattern option|
|Description||Currently it appears that the filename pattern option relies on sequentially numbered files to begin at 1 (or 001 etc).|
It would be nice if it were possible for this to be changed so that it would recognise any sequence of images regardless of the start point.
My specific scenario is that I use a GoPro hero camera that sequentially numbers files but does not reset.
I know that I can use a script to rename the files but would be easier if I could avoid this.

|I did some tests, and currently this is not possible with MLT. I requested some advice on how to implement it on MLT's mailing list.|
MLT now has support for improved selection. I changed the Kdenlive behavior so that when using the "Filename pattern" option in slideshow clip, you select the first frame in the sequence. So if you have files like:
Selecting the first one will now work.
