Summary0002646: pan&zoom and title scaling error when rendering reduced resolution version of video
DescriptionThis problem seems similar to ID 0002630, but has not been resolved. I recently updated to 0.9.9-1.1 Thurs May 31 2012 build from - the OpenSUSE12.1 X86-64 version. This update also installed mlt 0.7.8+0.7.9_78_g14c5abc-3.1 Sun 27th May and a number of other multimedia libraries. This update had sound problems and broke vlc, and in reinstalling vlc Yast required me to back off to some earlier multimedia libraries. This fixed sound problems with .mp4 files. My kdenlive seems to work OK apart from the scaling of titles and pan&zoom when rendering to a reduced resolution. Regular video content seems to scale fine.
Steps To ReproduceAttached is a simple test case input and output showing the title and pan&zoom problem, and sound working OK (it was done in ~/test, so I guess you will have to edit the /home/jim in kdenlive file to something else). The rendered output file test1920x1080.mp4 (rendered with video 2k and audio 256, 1 pass) is fine, but the same scaled test960x540.mp4 scales regular video and images, but does not scale titles and pan&zoom images.

To run type
kdenlive test.kdenlive
and render as described above.
Additional InformationMy present workaround is to render at full scale and then re-render to resulting HD movie.
