Summary0003117: Feature request: Batch render
DescriptionI explain now what I do and how things can be improved.
1. I add clips in avi format to the project tree
2. I put clip 1 in timeline and render it to m2ts
3. I delete clip 1 from timeline
4. I add clip 2 to timeline and render to m2ts

Disadvantage: I have to wait in front of the screen until every clip has rendered

Feature request:
1. Add clip 1 to timeline and put it in render queue
2. Delete clip 1
3. Add clip 2 to timeline and put it to render queue
and so on
4. Start complete render queue and process all clips overnight

Is this possible to implement?

As far as I have understood batch render, as soon as I delete a clip from the timeline and add another clip it overwrites the first clip?

If I understood correctly, you are just converting the clips to another format without editing, right?
In that case, you can simply select all clips in project tree and right click to see context menu, then select "transcode" in clip actions. You can then select the ffmpeg profile you want, new transcoding profiles can easily be added from Kdenlive' settings dialog.
